Anybody have any good tips re being successful prospecting the diamond field @ the Arkansas State Park?

QWAK,goldminer,Mostly just keep a sharp eye and keep looking :s9: last year some one found one on the path to the dig site after a rain.:yes:

Are there varying/pockets of different ground materials in the search area, and if so, in which type(s)s of ground materials generally are diamonds found...soil, sands, gravels, rocks, etc.?

QWAK,It is my understanding that it is a fairly large aeria and it is turned over with a cultivator ocasionaly to make it easy for visitors to dig and sift for diamonds. Every year there are several large ones found and when they do it is often on TV localy.

Do a google search I am shure there is lots of info on this park.
